CHOKER

CHOKER by NEUPINK is an album I've wanted to write something about for quite a while. NEUPINK is kind of a strange artist in my listening that doesn't really fit with anything else, and I often find myself asking "Why on earth do I like this so much?". This was the album where I finally started to get an idea of why I liked the NEUPINK songs that I did. A month or so before CHOKER came out NEUPINK released a single, FIREWORKS which I immediately loved. The more synth focused elements in the track really sung to me and on the release of CHOKER the synths in the first track, "DRINK CYANIDE IN THE MOONLIGHT", brought me back to what I liked so much about FIREWORKS. After such a good release I've got high hopes for NEUPINK's next release being even more focused on the synth part of synthpunk.
